Specialism: The service supports adults with Autism, Asperger Syndrome, Learning Difficulties, Mental Health, or ABI, substance misuse issues or with a history of substance misuse issues who would benefit from living in their own space with a personalised care package to suit their needs.. We are experienced in managing challenging behaviours and provide more complex individuals with their own team for consistency and development of quality relationships.

Age range: 18+

Current Profile of Service: Care packages are developed on an individual basis with a base level of shared support in the day.

Hours Provided: There is 24-hour background staffing, including shared waking nights. Additional hours are based on assessed needs.

Focus of Service: We provide individuals with appropriate support for their individual needs. We are outcome focused and encourage the development of life skills through person centred planning and the active support model. We also work with people we support to integrate them within the wider community and liaise with family members and MDT’s regarding ongoing care and activities.

Caeronnen is located in the picturesque seaside village of Llangrannog, and is set off from the main road. The property is a detached bungalow which is split into two accommodation areas. Each area has its own kitchen, bathroom and lounge/dining area, and each individual will have their own room and shared use of the communal facilities. All areas including the gardens and patio is level accessible. In addition to the garden and patio area there is ample parking for tenants and their visitors.

We can support adults with the following categories

  • Mental Health problems

We provide both 24-hour shared support and one-to-one support for specific identified needs. Our person-centred approach enables us to focus on supporting people who, whilst they have the potential for independent living, nevertheless need practical help and guidance to enable them to lead the life they choose.

Kelly is the registered domiciliary service manager with overall responsibility, Kelly is based in Cardiff. Katie Owen is the Service Manager at Caeronnen. She has over 6 years of experience working in the care sector, 4 years supporting people with autism and learning disabilities. Katie holds NVQ level 3 in health and social care and is currently nearing completing of her QCF level 5 in management.
