Berkeley House, our residential service in Teynham held a picnic last week to raise money for YoungMinds.
All over the country the people who live or work at our supported living and residential services are coming together to take part in ‘Regard’s Big Picnic Fortnight’ and raise funds in support of YoungMinds, which we recently announced as our charity of the year.
Berkeley House also invited friends from Springfield House, our residential service in Birchington.
There were also some guests from the Kingston Office, Gemma Francis and Charlotte Hunter who stopped by for a visit. Charlotte said: “It was a wonderful day, and I really enjoyed getting to see what it’s like in our services, I’m looking forward to the next event.”
Tracey Cleary and Sarah Sage from the Kent regional office also joined them for the event; it was nice to see so many people getting involved.
Service Manager Alison said: “Everyone that attended enjoyed a relaxed afternoon in the garden chatting and getting to meet new friends as well as catching up with old friends, it was a great day.”
